Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
This is a translation of the Arabic Terms and Conditions. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
Welcome to Stallo. These terms govern your use of the Stallo app and the stallo.ae website. By using the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
- Platform: the Stallo app, the stallo.ae website, and all related services.
- Stallo / we: the entity that operates the Platform.
- Organizer: the party that publishes an event or exhibition on the Platform and offers stalls in it for booking.
- Vendor: the business owner who requests to book a stall at an event.
- Visitor: anyone who browses events on the Platform.
- Booking: a Vendor's request to book a specific stall at a specific event, and everything that follows from it once accepted.
2. Nature of the service
Stallo is an intermediary technology platform that connects Organizers with Vendors. Stallo is not the organizer of the events listed, nor the seller of the products offered at them, nor a party to the commercial relationship between the Organizer and the Vendor, except to the extent set out in these terms.
3. Accounts
- Registration on the Platform is by mobile number, and the user undertakes to keep their information accurate and up to date.
- The user must have the legal capacity to contract under the laws in force in the United Arab Emirates.
- The user is responsible for everything done through their account, and must notify us as soon as they become aware of any unauthorized use.
4. Organizer obligations
- To hold a valid trade license, to obtain the permits required from the competent authorities to hold the event, and to provide proof of this on request.
- To ensure the event details are accurate and complete, including the location, dates and times, stalls and their prices, and the participation terms.
- To hold the event on its announced date, and to provide the Vendor with the booked stall as specified.
- To bear responsibility for organizing the event, the safety of its venue, and its compliance with regulations.
- Events are subject to review by Stallo before publication, and we may reject or suspend any event.
5. Vendor obligations
- To comply with applicable regulations, and to hold the licenses required for their activity and products where applicable.
- To be solely responsible for their products and their quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- To comply with the participation terms that the Organizer announces for each event.
6. Booking
- The Vendor sends a booking request for a specific stall, and the stall remains provisionally held until the Organizer accepts or rejects the request.
- If the Organizer rejects the request, the Vendor owes nothing, and the stall becomes available again.
- If the Organizer accepts the request, the booking becomes confirmed under the payment method in effect on the Platform at the time of acceptance.
7. Payment
The Platform operates with one of two payment methods, and the method in effect is shown in the booking itself:
- Direct payment: the Vendor pays the stall price directly to the Organizer, and the Organizer then confirms receipt of the amount on the Platform. Under this method, the amount does not pass through Stallo, and Stallo is not a party to it.
- Card payment: the Vendor pays within the Platform through a licensed payment gateway within 48 hours of the request being accepted; otherwise, the booking is cancelled automatically and the stall becomes available again. Stallo does not store card details.
8. Fees
The following fees apply to bookings paid by card:
- Service fee charged to the Vendor: 5% of the stall price, shown to the Vendor before payment.
- Commission charged to the Organizer: 7% of the value of paid stalls, deducted from the Organizer's earnings before they are transferred.
Stallo may change the fees with prior notice, and a change does not apply to bookings confirmed before it takes effect.
9. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancellation by the Vendor before payment: the Vendor may cancel their request or booking before payment without any fees.
- Cancellation by the Vendor after payment: the Vendor is refunded the full amount paid if they cancel the booking seven days or more before the event's start date. No amount is refunded if the cancellation is made within the seven days before the event starts.
- Cancellation of the event by the Organizer, or the Organizer's inability to provide the stall: the Vendor is refunded the full amount paid.
- For direct payment: the Organizer refunds any amounts owed to the Vendor directly in accordance with this section, and the Organizer undertakes to apply the same policy.
- For card payment: Stallo refunds the amount to the same payment method, and it may take a period determined by the card issuer to appear in the Vendor's account.
10. Transfer of Organizer earnings
For bookings paid by card, the Organizer's earnings, after deducting the commission, are transferred to the bank account they have registered within three business days of the event ending. The Organizer is responsible for the accuracy of their bank account details, and Stallo bears no responsibility for any delay caused by incorrect details. Stallo may suspend the transfer if a serious complaint about the event is received, until it has been verified.
11. Prohibited use
The user may not:
- Publish inaccurate or misleading information or events.
- Offer products or activities that violate regulations or public morals.
- Agree with the other party to complete, outside the Platform, a booking they came to know of through the Platform, in order to avoid the fees.
- Misuse the Platform or attempt unauthorized access to its systems or its users' data.
12. Account suspension
Stallo may suspend or restrict any account if its holder violates these terms or applicable regulations, while taking into account the rights of other parties in active bookings.
13. Account deletion
Users can delete their account from within the app. An account cannot be deleted while its holder has an active booking or an event that has not ended, and records of past bookings are kept with the Organizer after the user's personal data has been removed from them.
14. Limitation of liability
- Stallo is not responsible for the quality of the products offered at events, for the organization and safety of events, or for any dispute arising between the Organizer and the Vendor beyond what these terms provide.
- Stallo makes every effort to keep the Platform available without interruption, but does not guarantee that it will be free of faults at all times.
- In all cases, Stallo's liability to the user does not exceed the fees it received from the booking that is the subject of the claim.
15. Privacy
The processing of personal data is governed by the privacy policy published at stallo.ae/en/privacy.
16. Changes to the terms
Stallo may amend these terms, and the amended version is published on the Platform with its update date. Continued use of the Platform after an amendment is published constitutes acceptance of it.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
