How Stallo works

Three steps between the organizer and the vendor; visitors see the result on the map.

  1. 01

    The organizer publishes the event

They add the details, the permit number and the stall plan, and Stallo reviews the event before publishing it.

  2. 02

    The vendor requests a stall

They choose it from the plan, and it stays provisionally held until the organizer accepts or rejects the request.

  3. 03

    The booking is confirmed

Once the organizer accepts and payment is made, the stall is confirmed in the vendor's name.

Fees

The Platform operates with one of two payment methods, and the method in effect is shown in the booking itself.

Direct payment

The vendor pays the stall price directly to the organizer, and the organizer then confirms receipt of the amount on the Platform. Under this method, the amount does not pass through Stallo, and Stallo is not a party to it.

Card payment

The vendor pays within the Platform through a licensed payment gateway within 48 hours of the request being accepted; otherwise, the booking is cancelled automatically and the stall becomes available again. Stallo does not store card details.

The following fees apply to bookings paid by card

5%

Service fee charged to the vendor

Of the stall price, shown to the vendor before payment.

7%

Commission charged to the organizer

Of the value of paid stalls, deducted from the organizer's earnings before they are transferred.

Stallo may change the fees with prior notice, and a change does not apply to bookings confirmed before it takes effect. See sections 7 and 8 of the Terms and Conditions.

Frequently asked questions

For organizers and vendors. In every case, the Terms and Conditions are the reference.

Do I need an account to browse events?

No. Events are shown on the map without an account. Sign-in with your mobile number and a verification code is needed only to book a stall or publish an event.

How do I book a stall?

Choose the event, then a stall from the stall plan, and send a booking request. The stall stays provisionally held until the organizer accepts or rejects the request, and you are notified of the decision. If the request is rejected, you owe nothing and the stall becomes available again.

How do I pay for the stall?

According to the payment method shown in the booking: either directly to the organizer, who confirms receipt in the app, or by card or Apple Pay in the app within 48 hours of the request being accepted.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. Before payment, you can cancel your request or booking without any fees. After payment, you are refunded the full amount if you cancel seven days or more before the event's start date, and no amount is refunded if you cancel within the seven days before the event starts.

If the organizer cancels the event or cannot provide the stall, you are refunded the full amount. For card payments, Stallo refunds the amount to the same payment method; for direct payments, the organizer refunds you directly.

What does an organizer need to publish an event?

A valid trade license and the permits required from the competent authorities to hold the event. The organizer enters the event permit number with the event details and stall plan, and Stallo reviews the event before publishing it. Stallo may reject or suspend any event.

When does the organizer receive their earnings?

For bookings paid by card, the earnings, after deducting the commission, are transferred to the registered bank account within three business days of the event ending. For direct payments, the organizer receives the amount from the vendor directly.

How do I delete my account?

From within the app. An account cannot be deleted while you have an active booking or an event that has not ended, and records of past bookings are kept with the organizer after your personal data has been removed from them.
